I’m not dead
Graduate school just continually impinges on my ability to post anything on a consistent basis. I do however, have a few pictures that I like from my trip to the Bellevue Botanical Garden last month to see the Garden d’Lights display. It was really a beautiful night, clear and dry; the air was crisp so that you shivered a little, but it was the refreshing kind of cold. A night for couples perhaps π Alas, I usually go shooting alone! Maybe next year if I’m seeing someone, I’ll be able to take in the sights again, but from a different perspective ;). I did meet a french couple; the guy, with his Nikon (either 3000 or 5000?) asked me what I was using: My Canon 7D and the 70-200 2.8 L! But it was the perfect time to espouse my schpeel that “it’s not the camera”. And so to prove it, I hooked up his Nikon to my tripod and blew his socks off when I snapped a picture of the waterfall below that looked every good as my 7D and L lenses with his small Nikon and kit lenses. Take that corporate photography management π
Anyway, Enjoy! I promise to have pics of the mountains later next week as I am gonna head up and get some boarding in this weekend!

Braving the cold night for a glimpse of "Industrial Light and Magic" π Ok so maybe minus the industrial (and the TM haha)
